Description:
This workshop provides an introduction to the command line and Git for reproducible data analysis and scientific computing. Learn how to automate repetitive research tasks by working at the Unix command line and track your personal and collaborative work with Git and GitHub.
This hands-on workshop is open to anyone and based on lessons from Software Carpentry. You do not need any experience with the software to participate, but you will need access to a Windows, Mac or Linux computer. Instructions for accessing course material and installing software will be sent in advance. Lunch and refreshments will be provided for in-person participants.
