Description:

Looking to strengthen how you assess student learning in Canvas? This session is designed for instructors who want to make the most of Canvas’s tools for assignments, quizzes, and discussions.

We’ll take a closer look at building and managing assignments, working with Classic Quizzes, and setting up graded discussions that support meaningful feedback and participation. Along the way, we’ll introduce New Quizzes—Canvas’s evolving assessment engine that offers benefits like additional question types and more flexible accommodations. While not yet enabled university-wide, it can be turned on in individual courses or sandbox sites. We’ll give you a high-level overview of how it works and how to explore it safely, without diving into full setup or advanced configuration
