Description:

In Summer 2020, Advanced Research Computing will be rolling out "TinkerCliffs," a new cluster that will become Virginia Tech's flagship CPU compute system with nearly 42,000 cores and over 93 TB of RAM. This class will help users get started on this new resource, including logging in, accessing software (using a module system that differs somewhat from previous ARC resources), and running jobs. Participants need not be existing ARC users, although some Linux command line experience is expected.
