Description: 

Virginia Tech is embarking on an experiential learning initiative that is unprecedented at a large research I institution. The goal is to have every department offer curriculum-embedded, career-based experiential learning opportunities for students within the next eight years. This session will further explain experiential learning, the new career-based experiential learning initiative, and the new Academy for Experiential Learning, as well as provide practical examples of experiential learning and career-based experiential learning.
