Full course description
This module provides training on HokieAI API Keys. Completion of this training is required to obtain Tier 1 API Access within HokieAI. The proper use of HokieAI API access privileges enables approved users to connect applications, development tools, and automation workflows to HokieAI. Because API keys are credentials, users must understand how to secure them before using them.
Objectives:
- Understand: Know what an API key is and why it must be protected.
- Use responsibly: Learn to use keys only in appropriate tools, projects, and workflows.
- Respond quickly: Understand the responsibility to delete, replace, and report a key if it may have been exposed.
Prerequisites:
If participants wish to gain HokieAI API acces, they must also complete AI at Virginia Tech: A Primer for HokieAI.
