Date: November 5th, 2020
Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm
Location: ONLINE ONLY
Instructors: Nathaniel Porter & Jonathan Petters
Presented By: University Libraries (LIB)
Description:
Learn foundational skills for the R statistical programming language for working with data, including powerful control structures that can help automate your tasks. Participants do not need to be familiar with R but should have some prior coding experience in a programming or statistical language. Note that this is focused on programming skills for R and not statistics. SAIG, VT's statistical consulting group offers a variety of workshops on statistics in R through the PDN.
The workshop is hands-on and you will need access to a computer; preparation instructions will be sent in advance.
IMPORTANT: your seat will not be held unless you also register on the library calendar page at https://calendar.lib.vt.edu/.
